This week on
Saturday Night Jive we watched
Thomas And The Magic Railroad from 2000 starring 17-time SNL host
Alec Baldwin as Mr. Conductor. So this was a huge mistake. Turns out this movie isn't interested in helping you understand what the hell is going on so we spend the majority of the podcast simply confused by the lore of magical trains who don't move their mouths when they talk. We also had no idea this was related to Shining Time Station starring George Carlin and Ringo Starr as Mr. Conductor, we thought that was a different thing. It could be a totally different thing, this could have nothing to do with anything, we have no clue and the movie doesn't seem to either. Help us construct this 1,000 shit puzzle as this is the most perplexing movie we've watched since Southland Tales. Enjoy!
