...And We're Back! where we take a deep dive into an SNL recurring character and watch all their appearances. We're also back to doing episodes of Saturday Night Jive after a hiatus that is all Garry Marshall's fault. This week we're talking Mango played by the inimitable Chris Kattan. This character has more layers than we anticipated. Since there are so many SNL appearances from Mango we decided to push ourselves to the limit and see how many we can watch before we tap out. Surprisingly, we wanted to keep going but that would have resulted in a 4 hour podcast so consider this part 1 of the Mango saga.
