345: "Fumble-rooni" - Necessary Roughness (1991)

We're digging into the Rob Schneider bucket once again this week as we watched Necessary Roughness from 1991 featuring the Robmeister calling plays for a football team full of underdogs.  Let me ask you a question.  If I said I found a movie that features Scott Bakula, Kathy Ireland, Larry Miller, Robert Loggia, Sinbad, Senator Fred Thompson and of course Hector Elizondo would you think that it would be the greatest movie ever?  So did we, but we found ourselves another thoroughly mediocre sports comedy.  Enjoy!

We're finally here.  A podcast years in the making  We're finally going back for another taste of Ed's special sauce with Good Burger 2 starring Kel Mitchell and Kenan Thompson and featuring a cavalcade of SNL cameos like Leslie Jones, Pete Davidson, Ego Nwodim, Molly Kearney, Michael Longfellow, Andy Samberg, Mikey Day, Bowen Yang, and Maya Rudolph.  We also get some cameos from All That alumni as well as some old lady who thinks she's got something on Abe Vigoda and apparently Sinbad (somewhere, I didn't see him).  Who wanted this, we do not know, but we got it.  Enjoy!

343: "Fountains Of Racist Jizz" - Mango Part One - An SNL Recurring Character Study

And we're back with another installment of our award winning segment ...And We're Back! where we take a deep dive into an SNL recurring character and watch all their appearances.  We're also back to doing episodes of Saturday Night Jive after a hiatus that is all Garry Marshall's fault.  This week we're talking Mango played by the inimitable Chris Kattan.  This character has more layers than we anticipated.  Since there are so many SNL appearances from Mango we decided to push ourselves to the limit and see how many we can watch before we tap out.  Surprisingly, we wanted to keep going but that would have resulted in a 4 hour podcast so consider this part 1 of the Mango saga.  We also track down the whereabouts of Chris Gaines and Greg from Dharma & Greg.  Enjoy!
